湖南省張家界の天門山の険しい峰の大背景をバックに、自然の山水を舞台にした大型山水実景ショー「天門山の狐のお化けーきこりの劉海」
同音楽大典は中国の経典神話及び湖南省の「花鼓戯」である「きこりの劉海」に取材して創作しているものだ。世界中の音楽の要素と表現形式を取り入れ、現代化の舞台装置を利用し、完璧な舞台効果をつくってきて、歌舞劇の新機軸だといえる。
同歌舞劇では、中国の山水実景ショーの創始者・梅帥元氏（印象・劉三姉のプロデューサー）が監督、譚盾氏が音楽監督を務め、音楽、舞踊、歌曲、奇術、曲芸などを組み合わせ、視覚で盛り上げるスペクタクルをつくってきた。
“tianmen fox fairy• new woodcutter liuhai”is the world’s first real-scene musical drama. high mountains and rare rocks are set as the backdrop for the new version, which tells a classic chinese myth and folk tale “love between man and fox”。with an investment reaching 120 million yuan and a cast of 530, a lot of travelers from home and abroad have watched the performance since it was on show at the tianmen scenic spot in zhangjiajie
the story of the play is a classic one. a fairy fox and a man fall in love only to be shunned by both the magical fox world and the humans. they face physical dangers, but upon the mercy of the heavens they are permitted to be together after many years of solitude in the high mountains of zhangjiajie. when they return and make their final entrance in the musical they created a small family.
the most impressive part of the play is the scale of the lighting and backdrop. you will see in the photo gallery above that the play is to be watched in the evening so you can enjoy the lighting effects. and also you can see the scene “creating tianmen cave” is be shown on the 1,200-meter high mountain by means of fantastic special effects.
