  • Meals: No meals included

Upon your arrival at Zhangjiajie Airport / High-speed Railway Station, our local guide and driver will pick you up and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Rest for a while to get adapted to the mountain climate.

In the afternoon, visit Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, reputed as “Soul of Zhangjiajie” and “No.1 Sacred Mountain of Western Hunan”. Take the world’s longest mountain cable car soaring over the whole city. Walk along the thrilling 60m Glass Skywalk and 1.6km Cliff-Hanging Plank Road at an altitude of 1,430 meters, feeling like walking above clouds. Admire the twisting 99-Bend Road to Heaven and Tianmen Cave — the world’s highest natural mountain arch wrapped in floating mist with magical shifting light and shadow. After sightseeing, transfer to hotel in Wulingyuan District for a quiet rest away from downtown noise.

In the morning, take the one-way cable car up to Tianzi Mountain, known as “King of All Peaks”. Visit core viewing platforms: Imperial Writing Brush Peaks, Dianjiangtai Platform, West Sea Peak Forest, He Long Park and Tianzi Pavilion. Over 3,000 jagged stone pillars spread out endlessly; the sea of clouds surging between peaks makes it a famous shooting location for classic Chinese TV series Journey to the West. Enjoy 360° panoramic views of the grand peak forest.
In the afternoon, head to Yuanjiajie Scenic Zone, then descend via one-way Bailong Elevator — the Guinness-record “World’s Tallest Outdoor Sightseeing Elevator”. It only takes 66 seconds to drop 326 meters to the valley bottom with spectacular overhead peak views. Don’t miss South Sky Pillar (the prototype of Hallelujah Mountains in Avatar), World’s First Natural Stone Bridge, Lost Soul Platform and Backyard Garden. Wander through the real-life Pandora wonderland and appreciate the unique quartz sandstone peak forest landscape. Return to Wulingyuan hotel after the tour.

Walking on transparent glass panels, you overlook lush forests and swirling mist deep below, bringing a thrilling yet relaxing experience. The canyon is dotted with countless waterfalls and clear brooks, filled with high-concentration negative oxygen ions.

In the afternoon, go back to the national forest park and stroll along Jinbian Stream, praised as “the most beautiful canyon brook on earth”. The flat riverside path requires no climbing, shaded by ancient trees all year round. Listen to flowing water, watch stone peaks reflected on crystal water and refresh yourself in the natural forest oxygen bar to release travel fatigue.
